Can I pop by your location to shop?
The short answer is no. We aren't set up like a typical storefront, our studio space is located inside a building with a locked front door. And because of that we there isn't necessarily always someone onsite during business hours.
Can I come and pick up something I have ordered?
Yes! When you place an order online you have the option to deselect shipping (you just uncheck the ship to a different address box, underneath where you have filled out your billing info). We do need to know when you would like to come by to pick up your order. It's best to write in the notes section your preferred pick up time, usually about an hour window, within our business hours, which are typically 10am-5pm.
When you arrive at the building to pick up your order, there is a little white doorbell with "Nicola Adam Floral" written on it. Just ring that and I'll pop out and let you in.
When will my flowers be delivered?
Our earliest deliveries typically head out the door around 10:30am. And at the latest around 4pm. If you have a specific time that you would like the flowers to arrive, please include that in the notes section of your delivery form and we will do our best to accommodate.
What happens if the recipient isn't home?
When we are delivering to an address with direct access to the front door, like a detached home or a townhouse, we will leave the flowers in a safe spot that is protected from the elements, and then give the recipient a call or a text to let them know they have flowers at their door.
If it is an apartment/condo building we call the recipient ahead of time to make plans to deliver when they are home, see if they are able to buzz us in remotely, or if the building has a concierge that can accept deliveries.
Please be mindful of this when ordering, if you know the recipient is in an building we need access to, and you know they will be at work all day maybe consider sending the flowers to their place of work, or sending the flowers on a weekend when they will be home.
Can I place an order for flowers and get them delivered or pick them up on the same day?
Yes! We accept same day orders, but they have to be placed before noon and require a 2 hour lead time. So if you place your order very early in the morning, 8am and before, the earliest it will be ready is 10am. If you place your order at 11:30am the earliest it would be ready is 1:30pm and so on. If you are not sure, you can always call and place the order over the phone and we can advise you when it will be available.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to addresses within Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, North Vancouver and West Vancouver.
Our delivery rates are as follows:
Vancouver: $5
Richmond: $10
Burnaby, North Vancouver and West Vancouver: $15
Do you do events other than weddings?
Absolutely! We will happily work with you on any event you need florals for. We do plenty of baby showers, birthday parties, celebrations of life, ect. Just reach give us a call or send us an email and we can get the ball rolling.
